Mercanti, 12th Chief Engraver of the United States Mint. Over the years, John Mercanti designed and/or engraved many of the most recognizable coins issued by the U.S. Mint. The Mercanti-signed labels are much harder-to-get than the gold or blue labels. The Ultra High Relief was only issued in 2009, and contain one ounce of 0.9999 gold (1 oz. gold net).
