TODAYS ITEM FOR AUCTION IS: a very rare and unusual new discovery error found just this past week in a raw mix and guarenteed original by an error expert of 48 years experience. This is a transitional year error coin. 1944 Jefferson nickel struck on a 2.70 gram weight steel cent planchett. Wow.. how crazy is that. This is our second major error find in two months. The first was the 2011 D Sacagawea struck on a washer which sold in January. Don’t let this one slip through your hands. There is a reserve on this coin. It is set to protect the coin. Please do not ask the reserve. Please do not send ridiculous offers to sell before it closes. Start price is low enough anyone who understand errors can get in on it. However I suspect in the end it will be someone special seeking a magazine cover coin that gets it. If it does not meet reserve, we may negotiate with the high bidder.
