This week marks the ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARY of the selling off of my family’s estate of collected and hoarded coins and I am going to make this the BIGGEST and best lot yet. My husband and I married in May of 1971. We were both in the US Air Force. Together we traveled and lived in many places around the world and for over 35 years, we collected coins as both a hobby and investment. Mr. C. passed in Jan of 09. For almost 9 months, I sold our collection here and at some other auctions to satisfy the terms of his will. I started this at first bitter, now I am OK with it. Here you will find many unsearched rolls, including BU Silver rolls and BU Wheat cents rolls, US and Foreign mint and silver proof sets, certified coins, proof coins, bullion coins type coins, gold coins, even a few rare fantasy coins, OLD silver commemoratives, a few ANCIENT coins….81 POUNDS. While many of these coins will be worth 100 or more times their face value, I am also tossing in some gold, silver, nickel and copper coins that are so old and worn that they are probably worth scrap or bullion value only.Here are all of the GOLD coins and bars. The small holed coin is a 1849 $1.00 the very first USA Gold issued. There are also 2 $5.00 Eagles, 5 Pamp Suisse 1 gram bars, 1 Mexican 2 peso and 1 Mexican 20 Pesos. Thats, 1 Troy Ounce.There ARE about 350 USA and around the world currency bank notes, some with high face value and exchange value and some very old, extremely collectible rarities. OK, just counted the notes…$192 face value US notes and 300 Foreign Notes, no idea of value. Please see all pictures as all USA notes are either Star, Silver Certificate or both. Some over face value? Serious collectors, investors and resellers, now is the time to stop and get out some paper and a pencil so you can do the work of calculating the worth of this lot. To eliminate to many lazy dummies with no clue or cash, I will start the bidding at $1500.00…I know people here would NEVER try to get something for WAY LESS than it is worth…so just in case ebay’s servers become overloaded in the final bidding moments, I have placed a modest reserve on this lot.All silver in this lot IS OVER 15 US POUNDS… 240 Ounces…Highlights are, in no particular order,25 US SILVER DOLLARS, 11 American Silver Eagles (a few are ruff), 20 .50 Commemoratives, MS64 Morgan, MS69 Eagle, way to many pure silver coins and key date pieces to remember. Here are some more pics.There are several silver gaming tokens and lots of high grade foreign silver coins including proof and proof like coins and very LARGE, over 1 ounce coins.Rolls: There are 25 cent rolls including a few SOLID DATE BU, 4 pre 1970 Kennedy halves, 3 different solid date dime rolls, a roll of just V nickels, a roll of just War Nickels, a solid date BU roll of Ike dollars and a BU roll of State quarters.There are 10 mostly SILVER US and WORLD proof and mint sets, other Modern US Silver Commemoratives, an odd but valuable pile with 19 LARGE cents, several half dimes, 3 cent pieces, 2 cent coins, and 1822 half cent and several Ancient coins.There is a half full FIVE GALLON pail that was collected for over 35 years that is mostly Wheat cents and also has Indians, pounds of coins more valuable per pound than silver like Victory and Buffalo nickels and various coins from around the world and including every Continent except Antarctica.Also notice that there are 10 PCGS and NGC certified coins.
