This is an authentic shipwreck gold coin that sat at the bottom of the ocean for over 120 years. It has needle point detail, oustanding luster and a beautiful satiny surface, with a few barely perceptible light surface abrasions. It’s as if it just came out of the 1857 S.F. mint. This coin was graded by PCGS in the early years when the grading standards were more strict. So this coin could be MS 64. This is a superb example of this coin type. It comes with a companion book, stand and certificate of authenticity. As I am not a vender, there will be no CA. sales tax. The coin will be fully insured and sent express mail.
