I have a beautiful and rare 1911-D $ 2.50 quarter eagle gold coin for you to consider This 1911-D quarter eagle has been graded by PCGS at AU 55. As you may be aware nothing is stopping you for sending it to PCGS for a re-grade I don’t have the time and am looking for my original investment in this beauty. There is a reserve on this coin that is quite a bid lower than what they have been selling for on Ebay and on other auctions on line The reserve is $ 4,000.00 The winner bidder will receive the quarter eagle in a USPS Priority and insured package check my feedback rating please. I do not accept returns on graded PCGS and NGC coins so before you bid be sure you want this gold coin. I thank you and good luck bidding………the last AU 55 went for over $ 6450.00 on Ebay during the past two weeks…….. On Mar-06-10 at 13:35:37 PST, seller added the following information: I added four photos of the reverse of the 1911-D quarter eagle. There is a “D” under the edging of the PCGS capsule…….it doesn’t show up in the photo. After my purchase, I bought this coin to a PCGS dealer because I couldn’t see the “D” with the naked eye. He (the PCGS dealer) authenticated it as a “D”. I then saw it with a loupe under the edging…………..
